you seethe trouble like sweat suck me in until I am screaming hurt see you erupt messup smash and throw it out of you I face the madness shake it away swear and cry never again…..
my name is not important. i could be anyone. your sister, aunt, grandmother, daughter, colleague. what is important, is like thousands of other nameless women, i am a survivor of domestic violence. unlike many of these women, i will use my voice to speak out for them, to say what they cannot say, to show that god can take any life in any situation and use it for his glory.
domestic violence can take many forms, but they all produce the same result, a fragmented person. through the years i have been working to put those fragmented pieces back together and become whole again.
